The Backstreet Boys were put together back in 1993, by Lou Pearlman, when boy bands were all the rage and heard non stop on every radio station. Back then the band consisted of five talented members Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell, who stole the hearts of teenage girls. In 2006 Richardson had left the group, with the hopes up starting a family; however his fellow band members still believe that he will make a comeback debut sometime in the future.
Once again the Backstreet Boys have worked together, minus Richardson, to bring us their seventh, and said to be best, album yet. “This Is Us” is scheduled to be released by RCA Records, in the European areas, on October 5th. The United Stated release, by Jive Records, is scheduled for the following day.
The Backstreet Boys have decided to take this album back to where they once were. They want to regain the momentum they had with hits such as “I Want It That Way” and “All I Have to Give”; therefore they have once again teamed up with producer Max Martin, who was the mastermind behind the latter of the two hits.
In addition to collaborating with Max Martin, The Backstreet Boys also recruited help from Red One, producer/songwriter. Red One was able to assist Lady Gag with her hit singles “Poker Face” and “Just Dance”, so The Backstreet Boys wanted the same success. Therefore Red One worked with the band and produced the albums lead track, “Straight Through My Heart”.
This band has experienced its share of ups and downs, and each of the band members has attempted a solo career, which also seems to have just been a fleeting thing. Overall this band keeps trying to reinvent and so far hasn’t really found their niche, but with thirteen top 40 hits and having sold over 100 million albums, they are definitely do for a hit album and word out there is that This Is Us is just the album to push them back up to the top of the charts once again. The best boy band of all time Backstreet Boys are back and better than ever.

Critics often dismiss Frank Sinatra as a mere ‘pop’ singer and don’t afford him the respect that they give to his contemporaries. He’s often accused of lacking technical vocal mastery and simply a singer who reworked a ‘formula’ over and over again. While Sinatra certainly knew what he liked and what worked for him, to belittle his artistry as a vocalist is unfair and displays a superficial knowledge of his body of work. Perhaps the finest example of his vocal excellence is his work with Brazilian guitarist Antonio Carlos Jobim.
Jobim is considered the founding father of Bossa Nova, and certainly deserves a bulk of the credit for popularizing the genre in North America. His collaboration with Sinatra on a samba tinged album Francis Albert Sinatra and Antonio Carlos Jobim was a critical and commerical success. Sinatra had the highest respect for Jobim as an artist and liked him as a friend. He would try to work out the logistics for the two to record together at several points in his career, but it never came to pass.
“Wave”, written by Jobim and arranged by Eumir Deodato, is arguably the best of all of the Sinatra/Jobim collaborations. It features some great singing by Sinatra, including perhaps the lowest notes ever recorded by “The Voice”. Years later, during his periods of ‘retirement’ it is said that Sinatra would listen to “Wave” just to hear how good he sounds hitting the bass notes.
This song was to have been a featured track on a second collection of Sinatra/Jobim collaborations, but for some inexplicable reason it was never released as such. One story is that Sinatra himself nixed the release because he didn’t like the cover art. The photographer that insisted on posting Sinatra in front of a Greyhound bus mayhave been responsible for depriving the world of a second collection of Sinatra with a bossa nova twist.
“Wave”, along with the majority of the songs intended for the “Sinatra/Jobim” album finally surfaced on “Sinatra and Company” in 1970. The “b” side is some of Sinatra’s ill-fated attempts to cover popular songs of the day (”Close To You”, It’s Not Easy Being Green”, “Leaving On A Jet Plane”). These are recordings that even the most devoted Sinatra-philes collect for the sake of completing a collection only, and a stark contrast to the masterful work with Jobim on the album’s “A” side. “Wave” also appeared on the Reprise box set and of course of the “Complete Reprise Recordings” suitcase collection.
Critic Will Friedwald, who may have written more about Sinatra’s body of work than anyone, praised his recordings with Jobim as having a “flexibility and delicacy, as if they could be blown about by a soft Brazilian breeze”. In any case, the Sinatra/Jobim sessions certainly rank among the finest vocal work of Sinatra’s amazing career.

If you are reading FoxNews.com then you have seen that Michael Jackson’s monthly expenses while living and up keeping the Neverland Ranch, was costing the celeb almost $2.5 million a month to maintain. All of this for a mansion, some carnival rides, and a zoo? I “can see” where he was coming from…NOT!!!!
The article on FoxNews.com says….”Michael Jackson left behind a legacy of being an amazing artist but he also left behind $400 million worth of debt. And as the man who had the best-selling album of all-time (”Thriller”), has had the most No. 1 singles on the Billboard charts of any male and has won more awards than any other artist, many are asking how on earth he managed to rack up so many unpaid bills?
Michael Jackson had not put out any significant new material since 1997. He had racked up tens of millions of dollars in legal fees. These fees came from his child molestation trial. Michael Jackson was also notorious for his spending. FoxNews.com reported he had 75 card registered under his name.
Documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court provide a glimpse into Michael Jackson’s lifestyle. Jackson spent $95,700 on gardening for Neverland Ranch. $51,900 for security costs. It cost $66,200 to upkeep Michael Jackson’s famous zoo/amusement park. His housekeeping and PR expenses stood at around $60,200. Total monthly household expenses equaled $358,600.
Michael Jackson had also racked up unbelievable personal expenses. His personal/property insurance cost $120,000. He spent $25,600 caring to his medical needs. Michael Jackson was also a gift giver. He spent $42,600 on gifts. Yet, he only spent $100 a month on entertainment. I guess the entertainment does not count Neverland Ranch. The dollar figures came from FoxNews.com.
Michael Jackson’s monthly expenses were staggering. It cost $2,339,300 to live the life he had built. Even for a Double Diamond superstar, that is a crippling amount of money.
While my degree in Accounting is yet to be official, I can still add and subtract. Almost $30 million a year just up keeping the Neverland Ranch? Are you serious? This does not even include his other guilty pleasures. Plastic surgery, anesthesia, narcotic pain pills, underage slumber parties, and the cost of lawyers to fight off “child molestation charges.” When you start racking up more bills then your total combined income, you will eventually find yourself in debt. I think Suze Orman would agree with me on this.
So, R.I.P. MJ, and stay away from the “Little Angels.

The Black Eyed Peas just released their latest, fifth album to mixed reviews, perhaps because some fans have now gotten away from the music of the BEP’s and perhaps because they have gotten to listen to Fergie on her own, a few people were disappointed in this album, however it must be said that this seems to be some of their best collaborative work to date.
The sound is not revolutionary, but familiar. They are offering up a new danceable play list which includes some similarity to hits past. If you like their music however, you wont be disappointed, because however similar this music is to tracks that have past, the current sounds are still a bit different and the lyrics range from the moving to the bizarre.
The E.N.D., which stands for Energy Never Dies, includes fifteen tracks from hip hop to booty shaking. It has a heavy beat party sound, more then any album they have done in the past. Even if you are not a dancer, these tracks will have you wanting to get out of your seat and joining everyone on the dance floor.
In time for the summer party season, many of these tunes will be top 40 hits and will be heard blaring from car windows as well as home stereo systems everywhere. If you haven’t heard the amazingly successful sound of their first hit single Boom Boom Pow off the new album, this is just a preview to this incredible album.
It is difficult to believe that anyway could think this group is going anywhere but up, especially with all there enthusiasm and energy. With a funky sound, influences by music from past and today, keeps the band fresh and fans constantly wanting more. This album is everything a true fan of the Black Eye Peas would expect and more.

RIAA is an acronym of Recording Industry Association of America. The association is a groping of various large companies who deal with the recording and music distribution in the United States of America. In the 1950’s the primary concern of this association was maintaining the quality of music. However now the focus has shifted to the copyright protection which has become the main thrust area of the association.
Piracy in any form will not be allowed says RIAA. There had been reports about people making profitable use of copyright protected music. People are inclined to make multiple copies of music, after downloading them from the net. Later on the music is burnt into multiple CDs and sold commercially. Consequently the music industry sustains huge losses in revenue says RIAA. Everybody is barred from downloading any music without permission, and severe actions would be taken against the violators.
RIAA is rigorously against P2P music sharing. It took initiative in the year 2000 to restrict the P2P trading of music. However after showing significant decrease it continues to exist today also. RIAA has not relented in its war against P2P sharing. It is not only the traders but down unto the individual level that prohibition against P2P music sharing exists.
Though RIAA is doing all in its power to protect misuse of music protected by copyright but the activities in this direction by RIAA are not welcome by everyone. Those opposing have brought out that number of CD’s sold was more when online services such as Napster were available. Doubts have therefore been expressed about the stated aims of RIAA to help the artists and recording studios. RIAA has also been blamed for putting the artists to a loss who are paid very less payment for sale of CDs while they themselves make big gains.
However in its zeal to carryout its campaign RIAA has hurt its own credibility. People have been very much dismayed by its legal action such as the one against a kid of about 12 years, a woman in her 60’s not able to use computers, or one against an ageing woman of 83 years. Such legal actions have largely undermined the trustworthiness of RIAA..
In accordance with popular wish RIAA enacted a law that for past acts of illegal downloading of music no action will be taken against people. However they must assure that they will not continue to do so in future. It was seen by many as the right approach but in a year’s time the law was depreciated.
RIAA also holds firm opinion that pirated music hurts the artists, because their music is played on low grade CDs and without their official consent. The consent here refers to legally buying the music. “It makes people listen to poor quality music that was actually developed with so much hard work” is the firm opinion of RIAA.
Another area of activity by RIAA apart from copyright protection, is keeping track of sale of records. It also awards “Gold” or “Platinum” labels depending on the number of CDs sold. It may be summarized in the end that existence of RIAA has contributed much to keeping the business of music industry good and clean.

The Victorian Era came with calling cards to introduce yourself to your host. The closest thing we have to do that today is business cards but we are talking social not business here.
In those days, people would be properly announced when entering the home of the host and hostess of a dinner party. Gone too, are the Victorian dinner party etiquette manuals for hosting or attending such a dinner. Granted, those days had butlers and one spoke delicately about domestic solicitude, and when the servers took away plates and such, they moved as if they were wearing soft ballet shoes, so light was their touch and attitude as they moved noiselessly about. Guests on the other hand basically pretended that the domestics were not even there.
Today, the emphasis is no longer on the pretentiousness of the Victorian era, but rather making sure that both guests and hosts are relaxed, and that they enjoy each other, without interruptions by graceless and boorish behavior. This means that etiquette is still around but do know that good manners are still in fashion.
The necessity for inviting guests to a dinner party used to require that they were engraved on beautiful stationary and hand delivered by a servant. For a guest to respond to the invitation it was required that you respond immediately to the host with a formal response as well. Today we do not require that level of formality for anything other than a wedding or other formal affair but that does not mean that we have been reduced to the lack of consideration by using email for our invitations either.
It was customary to dress in your finest during Victorian times, but now, many dinner party invitations now stipulate a more relaxed atmosphere and may say that it is casual dress. We have retained, though, the etiquette that one should never dress in a manner that one ups ones host or hostess.
Good manners, also means that an invitation to a dinner party usually requires that you will give the hosts a small gift, such as flowers, or wine. Too, you will show up on time, not overly early, nor any later than ten minutes or so. Men should still seat their lady. Good manners also dictate that you use your napkin properly, and allowing the hosts to begin the meal by unfolding their napkin still signals that the meal has begun.
The act of a man standing when a lady rises from the table is not an outdated custom and still considered polite today. An area of custom that was never part of the etiquette rules are how we address technology. When entering a host’s home it is polite to turn off your ringer of all cell phones and only accept emergency phone calls. If you are expecting a potential emergency call it is polite to inform your host upon your arrival. Keeping your phone on vibrate in case of potential issues with babysitters is acceptable but keep in mind that should a call come in during your dinner party you are required to excuse yourself to a private location and not take the call in the presence of others.
Hosts need to be as ready as possible, anticipating that the food service will be taken care of properly, and if you need to adjust whats being served for special diets, do it graciously. Neither host nor guest should ever drink to excess.
Everyone commits a social blunder or faux pas every once in awhile. The trick when an error occurs is not to allow it to ruffle your feathers but instead make amends quickly and then move on with the occassion. Maintaining good manners as a guest will ensure that your social calendar is constantly being added to and you can enjoy all social occasions without any stress or worry.

So many people today are searching for methods to watch American Idol for free online through their laptop. It is no surprise too, given that the price of going to a mall theaters has increased drastically. Today in fact, the movie theaters are getting so expensive that so many people would prefer to wait until the film is released on video to watch the film.
There is a plethora websites available today that are devoted to bringing you the opportunity of downloading the latest released movies, that there isn’t any need to visit the mall theaters anymore to watch the films. It is crucial though, that prior to making your decision with regards to what downloading service you would like to use, that you understand what makes a good web-based service.
So much has changed in the last couple of years that has made turning your desktop into a full-out multimedia machine. The largest changes is in the actual connection speed which you can get hooked up to at your home. It was only a couple of years ago that if you had wanted to download a film it most likely would have taken eons and in a lot of situations you would spend several days downloading only to realize later that it was only part of the film rather then the whole thing this could be extremely time-consuming.
No one really wants to obtain a low quality film, especially when it comes to today’s larger TV screens. And while many people have located the many totally free films that are available out there, the one’s that can be downloaded, downloading these films is not exactly recommended - A lot of these totally free movies might be filled with viruses and no one really wants to have to deal with the issues associated with these malicious virus programs on a computer.
If you want to stay clear of these malware-filled files, and still download the new releases movies, all that you need to do is to make sure that you use any one of the large selection of well-known online download services instead. Several of the subscription services require a one-off a sign up fee.
When you think about it, the measly $35 to sign up is much more affordable than purchasing a few tickets to see a movie every single month and so for the same cost of watching 5 films a month, you can download a different film every day.
There are many things that you need to look for in making a choice between these film services. You want to determine which one that gives you the largest selection of legit film downloading each and every month, by that I mean, where is the best site to watch American Idol for free online?
Does the downloading service avail to you some type of guarantee? You have to make sure that should you not be satisfied with the service, that the site will give you your money back. Make sure that you also read their cancellation policy. An excellent website will make available to you, a 60 day money back guarantee as well as ensuring that that the cancellation process is not impossible.
Do they put limitations on downloads? There are a few services that will limit the size of the movie downloads, then again, there are a couple that will grant you unlimited downloads as well. Many of these websites have gigantic databases that are filled with thousands of movies, so you don’t want limited with regards to how many TV shows you can download do you?.
Make sure there is some form of customer support that is offered - This can prove to be important. The truth is that while there are some sites around today that offer nothing, there are a couple that will offer 24/7/365 customer support. You never really know what could possibly go awry and the last thing you need is to want the help from some customer support just to discover that it isn’t available.
In order to assist you locate the best service for your downloads I have added the links to a couple online services in this article. You can also try AOL search engine by doing a simple search for ‘Free Recently Released Films’.
Make sure that you take the time to research the film download services in question that you may come across through the search engines just to make sure that it?s a legitimate movie downloading service. Also make sure that download service offers customer support and include some form of 100% money back guarantee.
These film services are also fairly small in size, and in most cases they will almost always be of a excellent quality. Because of their smaller size, almost all of the movies can be downloaded in as little as several hours but this depends upon internet connection is.
Another imperative thing regarding the downloading of TV shows, pertains to the ability to take it with you wherever you choose to go. For this reason you might be interested in their requirements are for transferring or downloading the films to a mobile machine as well as whether you can see it online on-demand. You just want to make sure that you will be receiving the right value for your money.
Some of the film services may ask you to pay a reoccurring fee so that you can download television shows while at the same exact time, other internet based services will only ask for a sign-up fee. By making sure that you take the time to find out the type of payment the film downloading service will request youcan determine the best choice because the greatest option is always going to be the movie service that only requests a one-time fee.
Of course the most important thing, just make sure that you are well-protected when signing up to any of the available TV show download services. In order to ensure this happens you will need to make sure that there is some type of waranty, and that there is also a support service to contact in case in the case that something is not exactly as you had expected it to be. By ensuring that you take the time to research the movie downloading service, you will be able to ensure that you are making a well-informed decision.

After a four year hiatus, Dave Matthews band has come back with their newest release, “Big Whiskey And The Groogrux King”. This album is a departure from their earlier albums, to say the least.
In the past the Dave Matthews Band was known for a more rocking sound then bands such as Moe or Phish. With their newest release, the DMB goes into a new direction and expends on a more mature approach towards music and it’s influences while mourning the loss of their dear friend and founding band member, LeRoi Moore.
Moore died in 2008 as a result of complications caused by an ATV accident. His role as saxophonist was taken up in the studio by Jeff Coffin. Many theorize the band came back together to make this album as a sort of tribute to Moore, and this is easily across the CD.
There are many songs on the album, especially “Funny the Way It Is” the albums first track, that reflect on the loss of Moore and the bands reaction to his passing. It is the track that most resembles the old Dave Matthews Band sound while incorporating their new direction. Other tracks, such as “Alligator Pie” and “Baby Blue”, deal with the bands time apart and work with others, as well as their experience with producer Rob Cavallo, while recording in Louisiana.
With a Delta Blues sound, along with New Orleans French Quarter influences this album show the bands ability to play, despite the loss of Moore.
While it is a departure from past albums, true fans of the band are likely to find the feeling of the music little changed, although the sound has. If those same fans have found the heart of the sound with the Dave Matthews Band before, they will find it again here, and enjoy the little bit of change the band offers up. “Big Whiskey And The Groogrux King” is sure to become a DMB classic on par with “Under the Table and Dreaming” and “Crash”, even though it may take a little getting used to if your listening to it right after those albums.

Many people today before going out to see a newly released movie have to check their bank accounts to determine how much they can afford to spend. Unfortunately for most, seeing these new films cannot be a weekly item due to high rates associated with the local movie cinemas.
Since the dawn of the movie industry, the movie theater is played a vital role. However, over the last couple of decades the rates associated with the local cinemas have increased so drastically that when compared to the standard minimum wage, they are plainly too expensive.
With the many advances associated with the Internet that have occured over the last couple years, you are now able to see any of the newly released films from the comfort of your very own home. So if you wanted to watch Imagine That free, you could do just that with ease.
See Eddie Murphy at his finest as he plays a successful financial executive named Evan Danielson. So enthused with his blackberry, Danielson’s life has very little room for his seven-year-old daughter.
Evan Danielson’s career begins to go down the drain as a result of a confidence crisis. While he may not have had time for his daughter in the past, he finds that the solutions to the problems he is seeking can be found right in his daughter’s very own imaginary world.
Of course there is no longer a need to pay the high movie theater ticket prices because you can watch Imagine That online the comfort of your very own home. This means that you will be saving yourself lots of time as well as plenty of money, while still being able to catch this a newly released film.
When you choose to join the countless others who’ve already turned to the Internet for all of their movie viewing experiences, you’re making the decision to save both time and money while not forgoing the ability to see the most recently released films. Why not join the millions of others who have already made the switch?
So if you like the idea of saving money, then choosing to see all of the recent released films on the Internet versus catching him in the local cinemas just makes better sense. Besides, these movie theaters have had a monopoly over recently released films for more than a century and they just keep getting greedier and charging more for the tickets.
