French Bread And Fantastic Dining

Monday, February 8th, 2010

Restaurants offering a variety of cuisines are dotted all over the country. Not only will you be served some tasty food but you will be in a nice environment too. And the best restaurants will have high standards of cleanliness as well as everything else. With most restaurants you can choose to eat in and enjoy the surroundings or take your food away to eat at home. Restaurants are the ideal place to relax with friends whilst nibbling on your French bread and eating great food.

One of the benefits of eating out at restaurants is that you can taste food which you would not cook at home, like Mediterranean or eastern dishes. You might want to sample the wonderful meat dishes prepared in Arabic restaurants or taste French fine cuisine. You can enjoy some warm crusty French bread before your main meal arrives. Or you could choose a hot curry at an Indian eatery or everybody’s favourite, a Chinese. For something really special a five course meal at an Italian restaurant would be great. The antipasti is the first course and usually something like garlic bread, followed by the second course which can be soup or a light meal. The main meal is centred around meat or fish and has side dishes to go with it. And finally of course there is the dessert.

But eating out is not just about the food. It is also important that the atmosphere is right. The decor, lighting, even the glasses and cutlery are chosen to create the right ambience. Colours, artwork and focal points are used to make the eating space interesting and different. Accessories and cultural pieces are sometime included so that the diners feel as though they have been transported to another country. Music is another part of the ambience. Live bands or recorded music is often streamed into the space so you have some background noise whilst you are eating.

You can choose which restaurant to go to by thinking about your tastes, what time you have and if you feel casual or formal. Restaurants offer quick meals for working lunches. However you can find more relaxed environments which are perfect for spending a relaxed evening out or a romantic dinner. You can also get nice wines, cocktails and drinks. And round off your night with a sweet dessert or a fine coffee.

Select French Bread For Your Pre-Packed Sandwiches

Friday, January 15th, 2010

Sandwiches are big business. Because sandwiches are quick to buy and convenient to eat, millions of people choose them for their lunch on a daily basis. What used to satisfy us, cheese and tomato on two slices of chewy white read, is simply no longer good enough for our more continental tastes. We have become more adventurous in the ingredients and choose fish and foreign cheeses over the traditional fillings. We also expect a lot more from the bread that the sandwiches are made from.

French bread is the number one choice of consumers for pre-packaged sandwiches and those that are served in pubs and cafes. However, French bread can be time consuming to bake and expensive to buy freshly made each day. Which is why it is better that food service agencies now mass supply French bread to the catering sector.

the French bread is already part-baked and the frozen by the food service company. All the caterer has to do is defrost the bread and then heat it up in the oven. You get flaky crusts and super soft insides this way. perfect for customers looking for traditional bread. because the French sticks can be stored in the freezer for many weeks, the caterer can buy a lot at a time. This is ideal for pubs and cafes that have varying numbers of visitors and might not sell a lot of sandwiches every day.

If they were using fresh bread, this would mean that there was a lot of wasted food. This is not good for profits or the effects waste has on the environment. Frozen foods allow caterers to manage their stock levels and always have some spares in the freezer.

The food service companies save caterers a lot of time and money by selling them frozen French bread in large amounts. Other products include garlic baguettes and slices, naan breads and crumpets. Because they have been through taste tests, it is already proven that customers like the products so you do not have to worry that people will not like what you make.

French bread, when supplied in this way, provides excellent value for money and the ability to make a profit whilst supplying consumers with the quality sandwiches that they demand.
