She is convinced the explosion was staged, and the nuclear weapons have fallen into dangerous hands. Colonel Devoe agrees, and the two must uncover the conspiracy that has lead to nuclear weapons falling into the wrong hands.

Shadowlands: Based on the story of British author C. S. Lewis the Lion, The Sorcerer and the Closet whose content is of the hard life he had as an Oxford man in the 1950s. He is rattled by his meeting with a forthright American poet. The film is knowledgeable and moving, with Hopkins in top form and Winger his match. The other performers are also excellent. Brynner gives the acting job of a generation, and was rewarded with an Oscar reconstructing his Broadway role. Kerr is charming and her harmonizing voice was dubbed by Marni Nixon. Melodies contain “Hello, Young Lovers,” “Getting to Know You,” and “Shall We Dance.” Cast includes Deborah Kerr, Yul Brynner, Rita Moreno, Martin Benson, Terry Saunders, Rex Thompson, and Alan Mowbray. Red Salute: Absconder screwball Stanwyck meets no nonsense cadet Young in this clone of It Occurred One Day with crazy socio political wrinkle. Barbara’s boyfriend (Albright) is an interrogator who makes Communists talk. This is a definitely a new twist. Alien from L.A.: A California valley girl falls down into a gap and she ends up in the lost city of Atlantis. The movie is as stupid as it sounds. Airheads: 3 metal heads with toy guns reluctantly take a music station hostage because they want to get air time for their one and only demo tape. Sugarbaby: Its love at first sight for fat mortuary attendant Sagebrecht and subway train driver Swig in this droll romantic satire. Actors and tale are off beat, the avant-garde lighting fails, and the camcorder movements by cinematographer Johanna Heer are irritating. Cast includes Marianne Sagebrecht and Eisi Swig. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: A typical venture spectacle has Ford in fine form and Connery providing extra panache as Indy’s archaeologist dad, whose bizarre disappearance (when looking for the Holy Grail) sets the tale in motion. This intentionally old fashioned Saturday matinee has everything money can buy, however on no account seriously creates a sense of marvel and enthusiasm.
