Naruto is an action and comedy packed animation series which has Naruto Uzumaki, a ninja kid at the centre of its story.

It was originally created for TV Tokyo, the Japanese channel and was produced by Studio Pierrot. Studio Pierrot produced the series which was actually created by Masashi Kishimoto and immortalized in the Japanese comic called manga in 1997.

The series was broadcasted on TV Tokyo from October 3, 2002 to February 8, 2007 and was first made in the Japanese language which was later translated into English for telecast in cartoon network’s toonami division. Cartoon network soon stopped its toonami division but continued showing Naruto in the regular cartoon network.

Naruto Uzumaki hails from the village Konohagakure. Naruto Uzumaki lives here and gets into different adventures in a bid to get noticed. He constantly engages in one or the other adventure in an effort to grab attention and to exhibit his ninja skills to become the Hokage, the title equal to the rulers of the country. All characters of this animated series like Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno have been beautifully crafted and woven into the story.

Apart from cartoon network, the Naruto episodes were shown on Bionix and Jetix UK as well. The animated Naruto episodes though based on the original comic series also added some colorful events and tales of its own. However the ninja kid’s fans so far have only been treated to 209 Naruto episodes. Fans are hopeful that rumors of Viz resuming the telecast of the popular series will be confirmed soon.

It’s not game over yet for Naruto’s fans as the producers are offering DVDs which have the famous ninja kid’s episodes. Although they have been compressed, there is not much change to the episodes available in the DVDs. You can also get the season wise episodes of the series in a single DVD. The first 135 episodes have been brought into a single DVD called Naruto The Best Scene. The famous Naruto episodes are also available on the web. The Ninja kid’s adventures have also been made into a movie following its mass appeal.

Wicked Musical Tickets

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

If you are looking for a nice musical to take your kids and whole family to, Wicked could just be the one that all of you could enjoy most. Wicked is a Broadway musical also being performed at the West End. In New York, it has gathered enough positive criticisms to get a Tony Award and prove its worth.

This musical is based on a novel written by Gregory Maguire entitled “Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West”. This best-selling literature is actually written in parallel to the classical story entitled “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum.

In the story, there are two witches, Elphaba, who will eventually become the wicked witch and Glinda, the supposedly good witch. These two witches became friends, although they have contrasting personalities and view points. Their friendship did suffer bumps and trials along the way of course. They do share one thing in common though - they both love the same guy.

The setting of the story happened before Dorothy arrived in Oz with the help of her ruby slippers. With that said, the audience could expect notable references, dialogues, and scenes in the equally popular “The Wizard of Oz” movie of 1939.

You need not see the story of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz to appreciate this show and its plot. But those who simply love the classical tale are very much invited to see who the wicked witch of Oz really is. While you may think that she’s the person that made things miserable for the people at Emerald City, you might think differently about her after watching this entertaining Broadway show.

Before finding its way to New York, Wicked was first shown at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco. It debuted in May 2003 before being presented in Broadway five months after. The force behind this musical is none other than Universal Pictures and is under the direction of Joe Mantello. Musical staging credits go to Wayne Cilento.

In the US, Wicked is being shown not only in New York but in Los Angeles, St. Louis, and Chicago as well. It also has had a big opening in London, more particularly at the West End. A tour is also being held regularly, with the show already taken to Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, and Ohio, among others.

The main characters of the story, aside from the two witches are The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Madame Morrible, Fiyero, Nessarose, Boq, and Doctor Dillamond. Each one of these characters features a distinct singing voice in the play that makes the musical more entertaining and lively. The most popular numbers of the musical are “No One Mourns the Wicked”, “Dear Old Shiz”, “As Long as You’re Mine”, and “For Good”, among others.

Kids and adults would surely love this show simply because it is a very good one. The tale is rich and eventful, with the musical rendition quite memorable. Take your whole family to enjoy the performance. It is truly going to be a night of entertainment for all of you.

Legal Movie Downloads Really Work

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010

Unfortunately, it can be difficult to find movie downloads online but there are some resources out there which are reliable and fast and also cost less than the other traditional options.

However, the good news is that legal movie downloads do indeed exist. They can be rather hard to find. Although everyone just about as heard of iTunes, some people do not like to download movies from this service since you can only play them in apple QuickTime. This is just not satisfactory to many people although if you don’t mind using QuickTime, then it could be well worth considering.

Perhaps the most popular place to download legal movies is iTunes but then some people do not like using the QuickTime player and want to be at liberty to use their own media player without having to be restricted. Nonetheless, this isn’t a problem for most people so it is worth checking out before simply shrugging it off.

If you’re looking for legal movie download, you need to make sure that you find the right sort of resources. There are a lot of scams out there and indeed a lot of sites try to get you to pay a monthly subscription simply to get a database of illegal pirated videos on the torrent sites anyway. So not only are you breaking the law by getting pirated videos, you are paying for it as well.

Many people are familiar with torrents and other peer to peer file sharing programs which allow you to download things for free. However, this is risky as there are many viruses and downloads and of course since you’re breaking the law, you can get into a lot of trouble if you are caught. Though this might not seem very likely, it does happen.

If you want download movies online, they need to be director downloads from that site. Anything else is simply pirated. Once you have clarified this, then you want to make sure that you are getting the quality that you are expecting. Even legal download can be questionable in quality and may not have the 5. 1 surround sound or other features.

However, there are again exceptions so it is worth doing your research to make sure that you see some samples from the site in question or even some trailers. You will find that downloading high definition movies however, is generally not practical, even if you can find a site which sells them available for download. This is because they take up enormous amounts of file space and not only will you need a huge hard disk, but you will also need a lightning fast Internet connection.

The alternative, which is a good alternative and perfectly satisfactory for the vast majority of people, is simply to buy DVDs of the web sites. Delivery charges are typically quite low and you can buy virtually everything that has ever been published. What’s more, you don’t have to worry about the quality been questionable.

We can only hope that in the foreseeable future, the movie industry will actually start doing something about it and start to satisfy this high demand. The demand certainly isn’t going to go away, so something needs to be done.

You really need to take a look at the morality of what you’re doing. Movie Cast List Some of these movie download services even allow you the ability to rent or buy online movies. Another thing to think of are things such as movie download software.

Look for a website that has a extensive collection. The fact is that the in order to abide by copyright laws the film should have been released as a video so your collection should be at least comparable to your community video store however, since computer files do not take up actual space the selection on a first-rate website is usually better. If you also have access to music and games that is even better.

Opera Glasses- A Closer Look

Friday, December 25th, 2009

Devices to improve eyesight in general have been around for hundreds of years. It was not until the 1800’s that opera glasses achieved their position as a status symbol among theater-goers of the day.

Opera was also an important social event. People attending the opera wanted to be able to see and be seen and often spent time scanning the audience as well. To do this, they needed a simple and convenient magnifying device. Opera glasses were the perfect solution.

Opera glasses rapidly became status symbols and ways for people to show off their wealth. If you had the money to attend the opera you wanted others to know it. And a great deal of business was conducted at intermission as well. A huge portion of the high society social calendar was taken up by opera season.

People found ways to make the glasses much more ornate. They became an accessory that told a lot about the owner’s social status. They often featured elaborate cases made of precious metals or that were highly enameled. Inlays of mother-of-pearl and other precious materials also became quite common. There were also several variations that became popular. They included the lorgnette, with a handle that allowed you to hold the glasses up to your face. There was also a folding version that was popular as it could be collapsed and stored in a purse or other case.

There are a number of places where you can find and purchase opera glasses. They still come in a range of different models and prices can range from the very reasonable to the extremely expensive. You may need to look a bit to find ones that fit your needs and your budget. Good starting places include camera stores and some Internet sites.

One thing to look at when selecting your opera glasses is what the level of magnification is. Unlike a telescope or high powered binoculars, you will want to make sure that there is a fairly low level of magnification. A 3x magnification factor is considered ideal. This allows you to get a large field of view and it will keep shaking from hand movement as low as possible.

Once you know what your options are you can decide what style you are interested in. They still come in folding and lorgnette styles. There are compact models which will fold down into plastic cases which can make them more durable for outside use. This could be handy at an outdoor concert or at a rock concert where you may accidentally drop them.

If you are someone who wants to view theatre performances but are not able to pay high prices for your tickets, then opera glasses might be a good solution for you. It will allow you to feel in touch with the past and still enjoy the fine details of modern performances from anywhere in the theater.

Jeff Bridges has always loved the theater and opera, he currently helps run an opera glasses retail site where they sell opera glasses. Including Opera Glasses with handle, flashlight, chain and more!

How To Make Money With Event Photography

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

One of the many ways you can make money as a photographer is to specialise on events. Christenings, weddings, and lots of other events where people create memories can be well paid business. The great thing is that all you need is a stack of business cards, and a good camera.

What to do

Cover only events where it is hard for people to take the pics themselves and where they will want to keep their memories frozen in film.

One idea is to go to kids sports events. Get permission from the coach to click pics for the parents watching and then start clicking away. If you turn up with a wopping big telephoto lens like the ones used for pro coverage of events, you will be taken seriously. Make sure you get all the children doing great action shots and then hand out flyers to all the kids’ parents watching with your web address. If you can get hold of the parents email address so you can email them the URL of you site then upload the pics to your web site that day and email everyone. If you have a simple shopping cart set up you can make money in a few hours as people pop in to see the pics and buy them for $20 or more a pop.

You can do a similar thing with weddings. Take all the regular pictures as part of the wedding coverage but then get your URL printed on the wedding invites and all the other wedding materials and also get an email list of all the wedding guests, offer the couple a nice 20% discount for doing this and then take lots of extra pics at the wedding of the guests doing all the things they do. Upload all the pics to your site and send the emails. You will then make a lot more money than the 20% discount it cost you because then 30 or 40 people will be also purchasing your pics at $20 or more a shot straight from your site. Also charging them more for higher resolution shots is a great bonus income as well.

The trick is to find a niche where you can excel by being the best photographer in the room, and offering an easy way for people to buy your photos.

Dog shows, fashion shows, horse shows, car shows, livestock competitions, rock shows, - the list goes on. Keep your eye out in the events section of your local paper to see what is happening. Always ask for permission to shoot pics and if you need to offer the people 10% of the income if feel you need to so you can get easy access.
