If the food was frozen quickly it keeps its vitamins and nutritional values at the same level when it was picked. Levels of vitamins C and B can be even higher than in some fresh foods, when you defrost the frozen food proper way and use the minimum cooking, such as steaming or stir frying.
Some foods that are considered to be fresh were picked and stored for a long time before appearing in our stores. That is why some heat and time sensitive vitamins can be lost. Getting the frozen food you avoid the scraps of food spoiling in your fridge and all the preparation, like cleaning, has been done for you.
